Maddie’s Puppies, Three Weeks

Here are Maddie’s two boys and three girls, Rollie, Ramsey, Rosie, Ruby and Ramona.

Maddie never wavers in her excellent care of these puppies.  She loves to groom them and roll them around lightly with her nose for a thorough inspection.  When she’s sure they are fed and napping well, she joins her companions outside for a game of chase, or she inspects the property’s perimeter for who-knows-what.  She must love the fresh air and the crocuses and the sight of squirrels.  It’s a brief respite though.  She pauses in her wandering, freezes with her head cocked, and dashes toward the door and her waiting pups.
